www.MyPE.co.za:
The
people of Port Elizabeth are officially full of (Red) Bull after the
News
Cafe at The Boardwalk came first in a national Red Bull sales
competition.
Thirsty customers saw to it that The Boardwalk outlet increased its
year-to-year sales by the largest margin of any News Cafe in the
country.
“This is a great achievement for a Boardwalk tenant, especially during
a time [...]

On the Job with Wouter Booysen: Normal Workers Must be Paid Extra for Sundays

www.MyPE.co.za: I
received an e-mail from a concerned reader who works as a shift
worker and is paid his salary on a monthly basis.
From time to time, his employer requires that he works on a
Sunday. On these occasions, he is paid only for his normal
day’s work and receives no additional remuneration.
As far as he knows, a Sunday is [...]

NMBM Statement on Calls for Revaluation of Properties and Rates

www.MyPE.co.za: The

implementation of the Property Rates Act.
Whilst the Municipality will not give credence to some of the
outrageous [...]

2010 World Cup – Vuvuzela

They’re calling it Vuvuzela-gate, and it’s presenting 2010 World Cup organisers with a real conundrum.
