Free NKD Concert in Port Elizabeth

Africa’s freshest girl band, NKD, featuring the gorgeous and talented
trio of Nicki, Kesha and Deidre, are on their way to Port Elizabeth to
perform in a free concert at News
Café at the Boardwalk
on 8 April.
Within months of
launching their debut album in 2006, these Idols
finalists earned themselves nominations for both the Best Pop Album at
the SAMA awards and ‘Music Stars Of The Year at the ‘YOU Spectacular
Awards. Hits like ‘What I Believe’, ‘What’s That Noise’ and ‘Snakebite’
climbed radio station charts around the country, earning them the
Annual People Magazine’s Crystal Award for ‘Best Female New Comer’ in
2007.
Port Elizabeth fans will be some of the first to hear songs off NKD‘s
highly anticipated self-titled second album which promises a fresh, new
pop-rock sound and four new original Afrikaans songs.
The free concert will be held from 8pm at News
Café on Wednesday, 08
April. The NKD girls Kesha, Nicky and Deidre will hold a competition
during their show for two
lucky fans to have breakfast with them the following morning at News
Café. They will also be signing autographs for fans on
Thursday morning
at News
Café.
