The Old Austria Restaurant, situated on the corner of Westbourne Road and Bingley St, Richmond Hill, has been an institution in Port Elizabeth since 1972.
If dining in style with crisp linen, beautiful silver tableware, cut glass, and table service fit for a king then this is where you would want to be. Situated in a beautifully restored historical Victorian Vicarage, the inside of the restaurant reminds one of days gone by when decadence and luxury was foremost. Soft lighting, high ceilings decorated with beautiful cornices and carefully selected artwork completes the picture.
You can be assured that owner and personal host, Peter Raymer knew exactly how spoilt you would feel with the polished grand piano in the bar area expertly being played in the background whilst you dine. The Old Austria is one of the few restaurants boasting a fully stocked bar and a wine selection to satisfy even the most difficult wine connoisseur.
