Flea Markets
On the first Sunday of each month an open air flea market takes place at St George’s Park. Exhibitions of art, home craft, books, collectables and food stalls.
Along the promenade between King’s Beach and McArthur’s Baths on the beachfront, visitors and locals can browse around the many stalls every weekend.
George Pemba Art Gallery
The gallery is situated at 28 Ferguson Street, New Brighton. The Foundation’s main objective is to enhance the appreciation of fine arts amongst the historically disadvantaged and to serve as a platform for the artists and exhibit their work. For more information contact 073 787 314
Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum
Situated at 1 Park Drive, St George’s Park, the collections consist of South African art, British art, international printmaking and Oriental art.
