A new venture for Dax has been to review hotels - the first of which
was the One & Only.
During the FIFA World Cup Dax was appointed the official online blogger
for the V&A Waterfront.
(Eds Note: I like to
think that I had a
little hand in that appointment as I had long discussions with one of
the V&A execs about the power of blogging at the end of last
year).
Dax reckons that his favourite restaurants of the moment are Rust en
Vrede in Stellenbosch with Nobu coming a close second.
His latest triumph was to be featured in the Weekend Argus newspaper -
fulfilling the secret desire of all journalists who wish to become
celebrities and be featured in mainstream media.
Just goes to show that an all round good Port Elizabeth grounding sets
you up for greater things elsewhere.
