Royal Delhi
The Royal Delhi is situated on the corner of Burgess St and Zareba St, Richmond Hill. This family run establishment, owned by Mr Krish Pillay, a Richmond Hill resident, offers the discerning curry lover a warm and friendly ambience with the luxury of an opulently decorated interior. The restaurant offers its patrons ample safe parking with car guards and wheelchair friendly access. The diner can sit back and relax and allow the Royal Delhi staff to spoil them with a pre-dinner cocktail or an excellent selection of wines prior to sampling the many items on the menu.
The Royal Delhi menu caters for all tastes and not only for the lovers of Indian cuisine. From traditional Indian specialties, such as freshly baked Naan bread, Chicken Tikka and Lamb Korma, the diner is spoilt for choice with other options such as Braised Lamb Shank, Sole Bon Femme and traditional Chicken Schnitzel. Vegetarian diners are in for a treat as the menu offers several dishes, such as a crumbed Mushroom starter, Puree and Patha [crispy pastry with spicy fried mudoombie leaves] and Surat Vegetable Curry served with rice, sambals and papadums.
For the sweet tooth, the dessert menu offers the Bombay Crush [an oriental ice cream shake], Chocolate Mousse Cake and Crème Brule to name but a few.
