Heather Mcconnell is looking for help in tracking her brother, Brett
Ivan Mcconnell down.
She writes; “Brett
and I were born in Johannesburg. He was born 26
February 1982 and his ID number is 820226 5109 00 3. He came over to
England to visit in March 1999 and returned December 1999, when he went
to Port Alfred. We know that he was staying with Irene & Pete
Swanepoel who used to run a petrol station/gift shop in Boknes. We last
had contact by letter in September 2000. We have heard nothing since
then. Brett has always been into body boarding (it’s his passion). I
have spoken to the people that now run/own the post office and they
said that Brett, Irene and Pete had all moved to Port Elizabeth around
6 years ago.
Our parents names were Susan Barbara Mcconnell (nee Coetzee) and Martin
Mcconnell. We have two uncles in Johannesburg, Ivan & Russell
Coetzee and their mother Carmen Brown in Cape Town
Attached is the last and most recent photo I have of my brother, Brett
Ivan Mcconnell, at the age of 16.”
