Well Done SAPS

www.MyPE.co.za: Last
night we had a particularly loud motor vehicle parked on the verge
opposite our home overlooking the park.

Normally a loud; “Come on Guys, we are trying to sleep!” suffices to
keep the rabble in tow, BUT, not this time as as soon as my back was
turned the music went up again and the drinks were poured more freely.

Recognising the agitated signs in the Longhair (We are particularly
allergic to noise) I opted to rather phone the SAPS and apprise them of
the disturbance and drinking in public.

When the drinking turned to smashing bottles on the road, the Longhair
could not contain herself any longer and ‘informed’ these servants of
Bacchus that the SAPS were on the way.

Like mangy yellow curs they promptly got into their vehicle and
skedaddled into the night.

WHY KUDOS’S to the SAPS?

Because even after we phoned to inform them that their services were no
longer required they STILL arrived on the scene minutes later to
inspect and assure us that they would be patrolling the area. AND this
despite the fact that the service has sent 650 officers to the SAPS day of celebration.

Well Done SAPS.
