sport enthusiasts when it hosts a once off mid-winter race day on
Sunday morning.

The News

Winter Warmer Ocean Racing Series race day will take
place at Hobie Beach on Sunday morning from 10am and will consist of
three seperate races which are open to the general public. The feint
hearted can take part in the 5km Beach Run/Walk whilst the paddlers

swim, whilst encouraging the non-swimmers to come and join in the fun
on the cities most awesome Blue Flag beach.

The first 100 participants to register will each receive a hot News
Cafe goodie bag and a steaming cup of coffee. All finishers will
receive a 500ml Pepsi and the chance to win some awesome lucky draw
prizes. Cash prizes will be up for grabs for the top three men and
ladies in the three races and a sizzling hot prize giving will follow
directly after the event at News Cafe on the Boardwalk.
An entry fee of only R50 is being charged and entries open from 8am on
